Nick Aguilar M4A1 + Mato Metal M4A3 hull
Has anyone backdated Mato's all metal M4A3 with Nick Aguilar's M4A1 resin upper hull? I have both but before I tear the Mato apart thought I'd ask. Certainly looks very doable given with what I've checked out so far. Thanks.

I've not tried it but I have the resin upper and the mato metal lower so I can see how it is.
Re: Nick Aguilar M4A1 + Mato Metal M4A3 hull
I can confirm Nick's resin Jumbo upper is a perfect fit on the Mato metal hull so I'm guessing the M4A1 would be the same.

Thought I'd share a reply I got over on RCU from RichJ who's quite familiar with the subject:
I've used Nick's hulls on henglong shermans, taigen and mato metal hulls. You will have to cut the hull sides down narrower with a dremmel or band saw. Fitting the a1 hull you will have to cut the corners off the front of the sides. Leave the front differential cover attached to line up the urethane hull on the chassis. Good luck, these are great builds and fun to do.

Good to know. The only modification I did for my Jumbo was a realignment of the transmission cover. The upper and lower matched up with no issues.
