Tiger 1 engine air intake

Post by Franz Hack »

Hi all.

i'm detailing my HL Tiger 1 and I need measures about engine air intake in it.

I removed the Feifel system and now, I need to make the air intake.

Could someone bring me a blueprint or sketch about this part?

Thanks in advance

Hi Franz, If you go to----
www.rctank.de/ACCESSORIES-25-s4
And scroll down to the bottom you will find what you want in the middle at 2.95 Euros plus postage beside it is the same item and a pair of front hull supports for approximately 5 Euros plus postage.
I hope this helps.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Postage aside, a man couldnt make one for less.

Hi
Jarndice and Herman Bix, your knowledge about shops in our scale costs to me a high price !!!! :D

Thanks, I saw the ítem and it is exactly that I'm looking for.

By the way, I have noticed that the bolts seems too big over the plate, but I have not found a good photograph about this real element, and I can not compare both. Have you noted this issue?

Thanks in advance

Franz I have long searched for decent photographs of the plan view of a Tiger1,a Panzer 111 or a Panzer 4.
The Panther and the Tiger 2 have plenty of good overhead pictures available which is a puzzle to me,
There are very few good pictures of the Engine bay grills or of the in-situ different patterns of Air Filter,
My own thought is that with all the previous air cleaner fittings which filled the area now removed, the solitary replacement plate sitting in a now empty space gives a false impression of its size because there is no longer a field of reference,
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Yes, It is very useful, but it confims that bolts in metal plate are smaller than those in kit item
