Alternative Control Units for my Tamiya Jagdpanther

Post by Glory71 »

Fellow hobbyist,

I am in the process of looking for a control unit for my HL Tiger I tank. However, I don't want another Tamiya Multi-Function (MF01 or my Jagdpanther MF04) and Control Unit (T03) to power it. I am looking for something different. In fact...I wanted to experiment and put a new unit to my Tamiya Jagdpanther and place the current units of my Jagd to my Tiger I.

As some of you probably knows, I am a newbie and do not know much about the other options that are available to me. Maybe it is just me but I seem to have a need to try out different things  ;D.

Any suggestions? Open for discussion.

Thanks in advance for the reply guys.

Hi We are very limited at the momment as to what we can use basicly only 3.!st and cheapest is  Heng Long (with new battle/sounds upgradeable from RCcommaned with Rx18) 2nd is El-mod this is a good system with similar features to the Tamiya but slightly cheaper 3rd is the Tamiya system .But there are a couple in development the new system for the Hooben should be out soon ,and there is a system from clark that has been used in a T34 (wsn)but you would have to check with them if it would work in something as big(heavy)as a Tiger or Jagdpanther ,The Hooben system is fully Tamiya compatible and will be sold as a kit but dont know when it will be out.
check here for details of Hooben and clark if you join there are more details on the forum

Hope this helps .
