Afternoon Gents
Quick question
I have a Heng Long Challenger that I picked up cheap with a dodgy grey and silver paint job. other than the colour the tank is in new condition but I only want to spray it the correct colour and sell it on as I prefer WWII stuff.
My question is this... is the desert yellow on challengers the same colour as the Dark yellow on German WW11 Tigers etc. I am hoping that it is because I can just spray the Challenger with Tamiya TS3 and its job done. If the colour is different can anybody tell me what the correct colour would be (ideally Tamiya spray can)

Re: Challenger dessert colour
The instructions for the Tamiya Challenger 2 say to use TS-46.
Re: Challenger dessert colour
Thank you for the reply. I will check out ts46
Re: Challenger dessert colour
Sooo the TS46 is as close to XF59 as you can get if I want a rattlecan?
But it’s a dry heat!

God I LOVE desserts!

1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
