good afternoon everyone
I am looking for advice on how to make the plastic exhaust covers on a tiger 1 look damaged. I have seen models where these covers are dented or have holes in them and was wondering if anyone can give me any tips on how to achieve this look
thanks
Glyn

Hot screwdriver does wonders!
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!

Re: tiger 1 exhaust covers
I've left the inners as standard (as the outer shrouds cover them, but...Red hot pin for bullet holes, hot screwdriver for triangular/tear shaped larger holes, hot air gun to soften for dents.

The addictions getting worse... Pantiger, WSN Tiger Mid, WSN T34....And now a Jagdpanther...HELP!!!

Wow thank s for the replies. Some excellent photos and certainly good for thought. I never thought about remaking parts from aluminium drink cans
Re: tiger 1 exhaust covers
Its certainly good for the track covers as they certainly show realistic metal tear damage better than modding the existing plastic.

Re: tiger 1 exhaust covers
I use a hot air gun for guards and a butane burner for other damage.
I recently made tiger mudguards from
Brass and a panther single style set of exhaust shrouds out of aluminium weather flashing for roofing .
Agree the brass or ally bends & damages better than the plastic but either way works
