Has anyone ever used or know of any conversions to make a one handed transmitter with all the usual tamiya, taigen, heng long, etc tank control systems

I have never seen one....but...at the end of the day....the 'control' part of transmitter is just a collection of potentiometers reading analogue inputs mixed with toggle switches or push buttons.

The layout is 'traditional' and designed for 2 handed operation. Right stick controls the forward, backward, left right. They left stick has been 'made' to fulfill a load of functions because that was what was there...not because it's the right thing.

If you look at the fancy pants PC game controllers for flight sims, like the stick on my Saitek X52 HOTAS...on the stick side....I have the same directional potentiomers....plus 2 'hat' switch 4 directional inputs, 3 push buttons on the top and 2 trigger inputs on the front.

If you frankenstein those 2 layouts together.....I'm no electronics expert...but is that possible?
