1/16 HENG LONG GAZ TRUCK

I bought both the American and the Russian Gaz and last week I set too on converting the Gaz.

Total strip down, primed and repaint with weathering added, wood added in the rear and some benches, interior repainted and windows added, some body work parts added and rear lights added. I decided not to chop and change as I rather like the look of this so kept it standard.

The original 2.4 board was removed and I replaced with a servo for steering and a speed controller etc so she now works on proportional 2.4.

Cool, love the used look and the timber work

I rather like the look of this truck too, I think I'll need to get another one to modify.

Was a fun build although the wiring was a bit of pain, am working on the US version just stripped and primed.

Hi, what's the rollout top made out from, is it canvas. Or just a cotton print.

Hi mate, many apologies for the late reply.

It is just printed cotton, although you could use a handkerchief and then us PVA, that will harden it and you can form creases etc, once dry you just spray paint it and then weather.
