Wedges seem just a couple of sizes too big.....

And this will be the way to go I believe.
just some testing to see the results, but I always can change of course.

The Early one
Due to the Feiffel system with its 4 hoses I had to change the setup.
When I should have attached them like on the other Tiger, the barrel would interfere with the taking off of the upper hull to get the battery out.
Besides that, better to have different setups on both Tigers

Did you use cotton flags too? What did you use to make 'm pale/faded?
Are they glued onto the storage boxes?
Went through several of your vids, WOW...nice Panthers you built!
I do like those German tank commanders, would they fit 1/16 models too? Who's are they, I noticed you can move arms in several positions too.
Great collection!
When you guys take off some of the side skirts on Tigers, you put those little brackets back on, onto which the skirts were attached. like in real life.
What do you use for those parts?
Yes cotton, very hot water and let them soak, very thin acrylic wash, then place and strategic glue in spots while wet. The tankers are customized 1/18 ultimate soldier figures which I prefer to 1/16 static figures. They run aliitle large so they are actually closer to 1/17. Goodluck! Excellent start!

This morning I started altering one of the barrels.
As said, first attempt doing this, so don't shoot me.....
First I sprayed both barrels in a darker grey that in which they came in.
This is what I made out of it......maybe I must optimise it a bit when dry......

Now I look at the pics, I must add some rust on top of the rings around the barrel.
That will be one of the first places were the water/melting snow stays behind and rusting starts. And the top lid of course.
Always something to improve I see.

Is there a chance the white circle with the swastika will turn slightly red too, while soaking in hot water?

Hi Rob, If you need new rear hinges for your Tiger 1 rear fenders,
Dave at www.forgebeartanks.com is selling them.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Yeah I noticed all the nice stuff already.
But, as I mentioned haha, it's getting out of control already.
€5 for this, €9 for that, on top of that shipping cost, and bit by bit it's getting pretty expensive I noticed.
So it's better ordering several accessories/parts at once to avoid multiple shippings.
For now, I done with ordering, haha.
Must start saving money so I can get me a Panther G..........
