Panther Info...

Right now I own 2 Tiger 1's in scale 1/16
Still busy making them battle worn, like the ones from the Russian battles, because both are in winter camo style.
But, one of these days I might go for a Panther too.
My Early Tiger is from Taigen, and I think the Panther will be a Taigen too.
I prefer the earlier G-Type above the F-Type which has the Schmall Turm if I am correct.
But what I notice on those Panther models, the sprocket wheels are sitting a bit lower on the chassis compared to the real tanks, or is it just an optical illusion for me?
Real Panthers had them mounted higher, which makes a bit more of track slack possible.
This also gives the impression the tank sits a bit higher from the ground up front.
Am I correct in this, or is it just my imagination?
And, if the sprocket wheels are lower mounted indeed, is there a possibility to raise 'm a little, like changing springs on some road wheels, which could get those in a lower position?
Cannot find much info on panthers on here yet, but maybe that's because I am not long enough on this forum and have to find my way in searching stuff.
Again, just wondering about this Panther thing.

Hey There. The angles on the front plate are wrong too. The positioning of the idler looks slightly off as well when compared to my dragon kits. You could reconfigure everything to your liking. But when build properly as is, you will get a nice result.

But that means i am correct about the height of the sprocket wheels?

When you say the sprocket is too low do you mean in relation to the hull or the ground?

If the tracks are too tight then it'll pull the tank down Like the one on the IMEX website- https://www.taigentanks.com/taigen/panther-g-metal

As you can see the Sprocket is higher off the ground.

I mean too low compared to the nextcoming road wheel.
As a fact, too low to the ground.
The one in the pic looks much better indeed.
If you check real panthers, the sprocket wheel's axle sits higher to the next road wheel than the models do.
Maybe I say it all wrong, but the model's wheels are more in a straight line compared to the real thing.
