My dads kv-85 had a new taigen board with the sound and while dealing with a fault that was happening at least Grantham meet and and it burst in to Flames luckily it didn't happen on way home from the meeting so he cut all the cables and toke it out
It was running and correctly wired up

I noticed it had the 360 Turret Kit wiring I sure hope that was not to blame cos I for one would be most alarmed.
Apart from a ruined control board I hope the Tank itself is okay.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Looking at the board most of the damage is at the power and motors there is some damage on the hull but not much

Well, this is how it looked when Tiger hit You ;D

Now seriously, this looks pretty bad, did this happen while You try to run the tank, or test something?

I guess the cooling fan doesn't do too much, then.

I'm glad the tank is mostly unharmed, it'd be heartbreaking if the whole thing hard burned out. Your dad did really well to cut the wires and get everything out safely, some quick thinking and reflexes there.

People should start using fuses methinks  Simple solution for an otherwise expensive result.
