I didn't know so many of you guys had been booted!  Didn't know about todays ruckus either, somehow missed it even though I was on and off all day.  ???  Very unfortunate, however this forum seems to be advancing the hobby more.

Hi Swathy,

You missed my post because it was deleted before it could develop into a ruckus. The moderators over there do not have to answer questions or justify their actions. If you question them, you are gone! Luckily their lightning bolt missed me and I can continue to enjoy my hobby on a forum where sharing information and praising work on other forums is actually encouraged.

Hi Thats a smart move once they put the P.M. ban on you cant get in to edit your posts .This why I removed myself from there members list ,if you make a mistake when you put a post up you cant modifie it ,so no more posts when I left I had over 650 posts left on there.I can still visit and copy photos if I wanted but if like Brel he cant even go there its just a white page .

I'll take my chances!  The reason I didn't switch over fully was because I had a hard time keeping up!  Posts at your old site, Hobby Havoc, Panzerketten, Heng Long, World Tank HQ, etc.  Man it was taking hours to just follow up and participate!  To spend time on tanks and not ignore anyone I had to pare it down.

Well as many of you know I made the move across the pond for one main reason, alot less ego and alot more good idea's, Some how the other forum has lost site of the word HOBBY.I do this because it takes my mind off all the problems of the daily ratt race,to relax and injoy creating something and interacting with others to improve my modeling skills not to compete for top ego.Their are no tankers that I am aware of in my area,I have built ships all my life, and I'm very good at it.Tanking is new,and I have to admitt I am a beginner, but here that is not a negative,no smart mouth comments about my lack of knowledge,or my bad spelling. So for now I have said enough,Blake P.S.This in no way includes the BLITZ.

Today, for the first time I experienced this myself with one of the forum members over there.  Seemed to be perturbed about my sharing knowledge of a particular kind of tank.  ???  I thought the hobby was about helping others and learning, not seeing who has the biggest watch?  ???

As a kid I built lots of ship models and being fortunate to live near Port Everglades, took hundreds of photos of warships and auxilliaries in the 1980s.  Unfortunately most of the photos were lost in a fire and then a hurricane!  Really looking forward to scratch building a LCM3 for my Shermans and then the USS Hale (my great uncle's ship) from the Revell Fletcher after a square bridge model.  Have a couple of smaller ones to build but waiting to see what the hobby offers as improvements and looking for aircraft before I start it.

My first RC SHIP was a fletcher class, and i still have it.although most of my ships are Battleships. And now I just got the tank bug,my 1/16 Tiger is nearing a three month build, and next month I take delivery of a 1/6 scale Tiger1 from Legend Hobbies. But know this The Blitz has been very supportive from the other forum,he has answered questions without any arogance and has been understanding of what I am trying to build and why.Sax

Like everything else in life it only takes 3 or 4 tossers to ruin it for everyone, what I just cannot understand is why the admins let them continue to behave like that but go after people who post links to other forums - sure people will look elsewhere if they see an interesting link, but why encourage them to vote with their feet by allowing people to ruin it for others ???
