Loaning our tools

Post by Ragnar »

Kinda feel like the guy in the cartoon who loans a tool to a neighbor and never gets it back.
Having decided to remove the small forward hatch on side of my PzIII turret went to get my Dremel kit out,lo n behold it was gone! Literally searched the house from top to bottom, well truth be told it’s a single story lol. Couldn’t find it anywhere. Racked my brain then had a desperate thought, could It have been stolen? borrowed to someone?
Bit embarrassed decided to call the one person I woulda borrowed it to,my daughter and her husband.said she look and suprise! It was inthe garage ...sure as shootin’ She found it they had borrowed it over a year ago,and of course didn’t bother to return it
No more borrowing stuff out,TO ANYONE! Grrrr!
But it’s a dry heat!

I feel your pain brother, I swear I have bought 3 of everything over the years just so my kids can borrow it. BTW I have 3 Dremel tools just for that reason! LOL!

The sun is shining every day,
the night gives way to the light every day.
You see all that again and again,
but not borrowed tool.... ;D

I don't mind lending out the children...but my tools stay with me :)

If someone wants to borrow them...they get a free mechanic included

On the subject of Dremel rotary tools I found this absolute gem of a accessory kit on Amazon $24 a set I wished I’d known about / seen a few years ago’ just an absolute screaming deal.
Any one that has a rotary tool needs to seriously check this out!ImageImageImage

I never lend my tools to anyone.. I paid to much to have my stuff walk off..

They can buy their tools the way I did.. With cash at the store..
I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not sure..
