When Mato plastic gears fail...

Post by dgsselkirk »

When the Mato plastic gears fail.... My Mato Sherman had been running pretty good but at the last battleday right drive died with a sickening crunch. Opened up the gearbox and the plastic final drive was split clean. So, looked around, found some Mato Tiger gearboxes and with a little work fitted them in quite nicely and they run pretty good now! The 3 piece transmission cover fits over the bolts at the front so can't be seen once that is mounted...
