Have I missed something?

Post by Mackem »

I wanted to send a PM to the builder of a Crusader 3 on the 'other nasty forum' earlier today and found that I am no longer allowed to send PM's on that forum. As far as I am aware I have not broken any of their rules or policies and have received no explanation or notification from them as to why this action has been taken!

I have posted a thread over there asking for an explanation, but regardless of their answer (if any) they can stick their forum up their ( in a yankee accent ) ASS!

Hi John have sent you a P.M. If You have put a link in your posts to another forum this is enough to get your P.M.s banned .Strange it only happens to us brits the other guys can put links to other forums and nothing happens ,have seen stacks of links to other american clubs which have forums nothing is ever done .

Yep. I got banned too last year. When I asked one of their moderators why he never replied  >:(. I log on to that board occasionally just to see if my ban has been lifted but no. I heartily agree John, they can stick their forum right up where the sun don't shine.

Cheers

I think you mean Swathdiver.

"I approached Mato Toys back in 2007 about bringing a VVSS Sherman to the hobby. We surmised the reason it hadn’t been built before was because of the VVSS bogies themselves. They would be complex and not durable enough in 1/16 scale. I scratch built some and sent them off to the factory and decided on a compromise design to get the tank built. Next, was which tank to depict? I figured the M4A1(76)W should be the first one, as they were the great hope in breaking out of the Normandy bridgehead. So this tank is from the initial batch (January-February ’44) though it does have the rear armored cover for the ventilator so it can be re-used for upcoming releases."
