You can get some idea by referencing the capacity of the battery and the output of the charger. If you divide the former by the latter it will give you the time for a full charge. E. G. A 3500 mah battery will take 3.5 hours to charge with a 1 amp charger.

Battery sez 7.4 V 1800 MAH. Was Curious as when I first plugged the charger in the indicator light was green, after plugging in the battery was red indicating charging , after 2 hrs indicator was yellow.
My thought that may have meant a 1/2 charge and if I let it charge longer it might change to green meaning a full charge, but if the yellow WAS indicating a full charge would want to disconnect the battery to keep from over charging. Catch my drift? :D

Son of a gun-ner wrote:Well, you have a li-ion battery, they usually come charged or part charged, cos as I've not long found out, they should never fully be run down and should be stored charged etc. Therefore you should be good to go on Amber.

I believe it to be, green, chargers working, red it's doing what it's paid to do, and Amber, done, complete, time to play.

Yep your right, never leave them or any battery being charged unattended. Think about all the electronics these days exploding in people pockets etc.
