T90 conversion

Post by HammerWihoutASickle »

I was thinking of converting the HL T90 to the more recent T90M. Would you guys happen to know any vendors that fan make the parts for this conversion? Image

Hi there

I've looked at building the T90MS
Collected a pile if reference and kits form HOBBY boss and trumpeter
And zvesda for reference as well

First of ..it s totally new turret ..the HLT90 is a case turned the T90MS
Is an all welded construction enabling the new reactive armour kit to be fitted .. it's quite a monster turret build quite complicated

The hull rear is also different with the engine compartment deck sends is sliglty different places and sizes ..not to mention the auxiliary power unit
On the back right side ..and lots of detail changes to fittings across the hull

Not impossible to do ..but imwould class this build as more or less a full on scratch build .... And would cost a lot of money !!!!!

That would explain why the T90 doesn't have parts from DKLM or OSMO yet. Any way to replicate the changes?

Hm, you're right the ZTZ has some resemblance to it. But mounting the extra optics and gun will be a challenge. And the welding is another annoyance. I'll keep looking like you did for reference.

That challenger looks great by the way.
