Hi Chaps.
Many thanks for all the replies, I also did some digging and saw a rear light that had a fold down flap... when folded down it shows the 4 green lights as mentioned above for convoy use, then when the flap is folded up it shows a steady red light on the left side and an orange stop light on the right side when in use in non combat roles.
But I cannot find which vehicles they were infact fitted to, I note that on the rear left side of the hull back plate above the left mudguard on my Tamiya King Tiger there is a moulded in protruding tube which I have taken resembles the cylindrical convoy light as shown above.
I think I would be safe just going for the 4 green convoy light " tube " as it were.

Yep. That moulding is the convoy light.

The "flap" convoy light was an early one mostly fitted on Pz. III and IV's, stugs, ...
