I had the same problem posting pictures. Message saying file is to large. I find it convenient to use my computer for all this kind of work. Went on the internet and found a small free no frills Image Resizer for Windows published by Brice Lambson . It works in the back ground and when you double click on the picture you wont to sent, from the window that comes up click on Resize Image. The Image Resizer will come up and there you pick the size you want.In your picture folder a second image of you picture will appear click on the resized picture and click open. From there follow the forums protocol. It works very well for me. May be just another option you can explore.
