FV107 Scimitar- superb 3D printed version

Post by 43rdRecceReg »

It's always encouraging to see how far 3-D printing has come, especially when it's used to good effect on British armour. If you skip a bit of the chatter at the beginning of the video, you'll see an excellent working Scimitar unveiled

The deeper you dig here the more you find. 8O The Scorpion looks like a terrific Kit. The website has a professional feel to it too..

I know someone who has one. The design that has gone into this is nothing short of amazing. Everything fits, and there are moulded bays for everything inside. The tracks are a pain to assemble, but it goes like a mad thing and doesn't fall apart. Knowing how much work must have gone into the CAD design, it is an excellent model, and it works very well.
