Roy, I was a little leery about the fact that everything was plastic - especially the drive sprockets. It has a forward-reverse ability, and I am sure that it was meant for indoor operation on smooth floors, but I believe it will hold up to moderate operation outside, and am planning to fit some Heng Long 2.4 electronics for basic functions. Changing the track to something that was more link-and-pin made it look a lot better, but if I had it to do again, I don't think I'd go through the turmoil of removing (and widening) the drive sprockets just so they'd fit better-looking track. The General and I were both waiting for someone to come out with better aftermarket track; but that never happened (yet). Also, we got it at around half the cost of what you're seeing right now....I think every once in awhile they just decide to clear them out, so if you think you might want one in the future; just keep your eyes peeled.

Also, the scale is a little difficult to find accessories for, but the same company makes a tool set, (in the video, the tanks rarely are equipped with tools), and we got a couple sets of those by waiting and watching for a better-than-normal price. Figures for it are going to be a problem. I know that the McFarland series of military figures are 1/12, (I have some for a HUMMV and a HEMTT M983 build), but they are modern figures and none of them be usable for anything related to the Panxer IV.
