I just hope when all the building dust settles I can apply a paint and weathering job that will be as good as yours. :)

I don’t doubt that if you paint it with the same level of commitment it’ll turn out awesome. Image
Aren’t you afraid to break all those delicate pieces when you run it? Or is it going to be more of a static model?

Yes, the true test of your talents yet to come, I would be bricking it at the weathering stage after your level of detail and commitment, I don't think I could handle the pressure.

Hmm, I wonder, who's the real tank maniac  ;) :haha:

It is intended to be an highly detailed operating model, but not abused, it is a risk! 8O

That is the reason that many of the areas most likely to be "bumped" are brass or sturdy styrene. ;)

Major milestone 90% accomplished, well all most.

I have just about completed the mantel mount and associated armored conduit. I also replaced the molded side close out shields as well as the movable rear hinged section. I fabricated new hinges as the plastic one just did not meet the need or standard. The same could be said for the Coaxial 7.62mm MG Blast Tube, the plastic had to go!

I also fabricated that pesky latch for the ammo box.

Cheers for now,

When I see what some people can do with brass, I look at the fumble fingers on the outskirts of my hands, and wonder why I was born with such completely useless digits! :wtf:
