Thats the charger I have, and indeed is a very good one and a must when using different batteries. But instead of buying the one in the link you provided, I would buy this one: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/imax-b6-ac- ... nuine.html

In your link you still need the power adaptor. The one in my link comes with it.

Thank you Rad, I was just showing the link Bill had posted in another thread. I can pick one up at my local shop, although a bit dearer, I can take it back if there's something wrong with it

Ok, ok. Just in case I was not clear or something, the one you posted comes with no power adaptor. I dont know if you get it: The big black box that you plug in the wall, lol), so you will have to buy one somewhere. I bought one and it was not good enough, then changed to another and still had problems. But three times the charm, lol.

Then I discovered the other charger I posted, that already comes with everything. The power adaptor is built in inside the charger, so one thing less to worry.

Better sometimes dumb, and sometimes lucky......than MEDIUM RARE.
LiPos may be great for heavy duty users equipped with flame proof bags, but I play it safe(r) with Ni-Mh.

yes, and in Laptops and iPads, etc..
But just remember stories of guys having their testicles toasted by overheating laptop batteries, and Samsung smartphone incendiary devices performing unexpected pyrotechnics.....

Before I retired I managed a school network with 500+ laptops, we always made sure any replacement chargers & batteries were originals, there have been too many fires caused by cheap & dodgy chargers & batteries.

I always use 'original' chargers for our phones, tablets & laptops at home. It's not worth the risk just to save a few ££ by buying clone chargers or batteries in my opinion.

On the subject of chargers, a pet hate of mine......

is phone, tablet, or laptop chargers being left plugged in & switched on without any device attached.

Hi folks
Have had this for a while bought for flying ,built in supply with plug in lead and has a 12v lead for charging from van .
Good function if you have a forgotten to charge or running tanks away from home. Mine has a 12v plug , shows 2 clips now.

I got an IMAX B6 myself, just be aware there are cheap Chinese knock-offs that sell at bargain prices. There are tips somewhere on how to pick them from the legit versions.
