Yes I am just perfecting the loading ramp but the idea is the landing craft arrives on the beach drops the ramp and the Sherman and truck drive off. Landing craft has 2 motors and twin rudders driven by a 9.6 volt battery with extra channel for ramp servo. Control is a 2.4 ghz will post a video once we have some decent weather.

I’d be interested to see how you work the ramp, that’s what I’m stuck on at the moment doh!

Ramp is run off a servo with a spring to keep tension Due to the weight of the ramp the yellow roller was placed instead of a guide and a pulley to help on the servo arm. Photos here https://model-boats.com/#photos/navalships?goto=39878

The link doesn't work for some reason, just takes you to the homepage.

I'm sorry you are right. To get to the pictures go to the left hand menu select photo gallery then scroll down to naval ships.

Yes Travel is the full range of the ramp but there is some resistance at the ring on the servo arm which I will sort out when a pulley arrives. The spring really helps.

Thanks Bryan,
It’s an interesting idea, I’ve plenty of servos kicking around, I’ll give it a try.
