A fascinating little read, Dayle. When a hobby becomes a way of life, as it did for these two families, every day is 'holiday', as they put it. While the search for and recovery of Russian and German tanks would appeal to me too, I don't think I would have eaten the 76 year old German chocolate they found in one tank, and then went on to scoff...
