HL Jagdpanther late winter repaint
Here's one I just finished up for a buddy. It's a standard HL Jagd with added metal gear boxes, drive sprocket, idler, road wheels, and treads. I just applied the winter white wash over the stock HL camo.
He had came across a picture that he liked, so I tried to get the paint pretty close Here's the example. And here's the results.
Some more taken outside. Not really too much sunshine today.

I really liked the way that the mufflers came out. Here's a couple of close ups of them.

Was that just a fun personal touch? It is definitely unique, I have never seen a Jagdpanther with the stamped late road wheels. They were only on a handful of the last panthers.capt midnight wrote:oops!!

Re: HL Jagdpanther late winter repaint
My buddy that I painted it for picked up the road wheels. If I remember correctly, he came across a picture and liked the look. I never really thought about it until now. I'm just the schlep that slings the paint!Jnewboy wrote:Was that just a fun personal touch? It is definitely unique, I have never seen a Jagdpanther with the stamped late road wheels. Steel wheels look great, mine is due back after having them made for the Tamiya chassis.
