Hi guys Have tried something out the rust on the photos is real rust, just put some 2mm steel plate out about a month ago wet it and scrubbed with scotch brite to remove any oil and left it, then scrape the rust off and put it on the tank just used a wet paint brush to wet the tank and a dry brush to put it on I think its worked pretty good and didnt cost anything.You could use anything that has gone rusty gates fencing or even the old car .

Hi Rob Its the cheap bit I like its free and its real ,seen it used on a model sub so I thought why not .

Hi OZ Like everything else the more practice the better the result ,I just made a wet track and applied the rust to it so you can add more at the top and less at the bottom ,just tried to think of where the rust would show and run .
