Tamiya Panther

Post by percy1510 »

This is my completed Tamiya Panther. Got it from Ebay a few weeks back and it was in pretty poor shape. Badly brush painted and most of the detail parts glued on with big blobs of glue, turret numbers painted in Tipex and best of all there was a 2 inch wood screw thru the mantlet holding the gun in place !!  :-\. Since then I have stripped everything back down to the basics, rebuilt all of the mantlet area (without the wood screw),scratch built some missing parts, cleaned off all the old paint and given it a new paint job which I am pretty chuffed with. I would love to hear what you guys think of it (good and bad comments welcome  :))

all the best
Glyn

Percy it looks good
just one small thing the tracks look to me to be a bit too tight, they should sag on to the road wheels as show in this picture
