I used the razor saw to remove two triangular sections from the side of the Louvre unit, where it joins the Casement rear panel. It's just another error that simply must be corrected....(say's my Inner Nerd, now sitting on my shoulder and barking out instructions :'( :haha: )
Here's the right side having just had the triangle of unnecessary plastic excised
Erroneous segment excised from the Asiatam louvre unit
Erroneous segment excised from the Asiatam louvre unit
and, after a spot of creative surgery, the two details are now satisfactory  (Louvre..yet another error, and the louvre bolted brace fitted) Click to enlarge.
Two detail features corrected..

Shame you have to hack & slash, but I'm glad you are doing it !!
Sure is a lot of correcting for what should be a relatively straight forward assembly otherwise :problem:

Dead right. As for Vandra, I do recall people struggling with their kits, without actually offing and blinding.. :-< However, If you combine 'Asiatam' and 'Vandra' you can get: "As Mad as a Variant".. :haha:

Yes, it's no fun fixing boobs....unless you happen to be a cosmetic surgeon :haha:

No fun? :haha:

Take it to the ultimate straightforwardness - you go down to the local hobby store and buy a Stug IV. Now that is no fun.

If this had been a straightforward build, would you have had as much satisfaction of researching and getting behind the production of a real Stug? You are exercising your research and build skills, and at the conclusion, will have a tank like no-one else's.

I think you should be thanking Asiatam :eh:

... :/ In a perverse sort of way, you're absolutely right, Estniche. Asiatam kits are probably ideal for those who can't acknowledge possessing a mild masochistic trait. At the same RCTW is really a self-help group in disguise for obsessives, masochists, OCDs, and those who need to recreate the World in a more manageable scale- namely: :lolno: :haha: 1/16
I've just been trying to fit the casement roof on this thing and- guess what- it doesn't fit !!! :D Should we be surprised?

It would be an excellent fit in my rubbish bin, Carl, except than our refuse service will only accept plastics labelled 'PET" or 'HDPE"...and not 'TLOUPC" (Total load Of Unknown Plastic Cr*p). :-< :haha:
I've often used the term- a 'Faux pas' to mean a 'goof' or an error, but now a 'Faux Panzer' could be used to refer to an Asiatam product..

Roy,
Good evening, You've done solid, solid work on this kit so far. The roof will not throw you, I think. ( I did look at it the other day when you were showing us the excellent work on the drivers mini casemate and think "he is going to have 'fun' with that piece" )
regards and following along:
