I received a shipment from the UK today and thought it was a part I had ordered. Turns out it was supposed to go to a gentleman in Michigan. Thankfully all of his information was in the package so I called him up. I am sending it on to him at my expense. I'd contact the company but they didn't put any of their information in, or on, the package. I am speculating that I have ordered something from them and now it is a stupid game to figure out who sent it so I can see if my item went somewhere else.
There are a couple of quality dealers overseas and there are a couple I will never do business with again. No support, no information in english or even a place on their site to at least get the information in their language so I could get it translated, and definitely no response to emails or requests for clarification.
This is just a bit of a rant about service from overseas. I know there is a company here that sells RC items and other than Forgebear I will contain my orders to them. I have found a dealer from Hong Kong that I have used multiple times and he is reasonable, a fast shipper, and has superb support.
Anyway - Be well you all!
Steve

Is the person in MI name Gary by any chance?
Re: Interesting shipment today
I did ask Kyle who it was and he had ordered several parts from overseas and wasn't sure who it was from. No large - I figured out who it was by what I hadn't received and sent them an email. They are going to reimburse me for the shipping charges and even gave me a $10 credit in their store. Apparently his and my order were on the bench side by side and he is going to receive my part. They will reimburse him for shipping it on to me.
It will all work out on our orders in the end.
I did send Kyle this forum address and encouraged him to come in. He has done a superb job on his tank.
Be well,
Steve

Grayling MI and his name is Kyle. He bought his grandkids and son tanks for Christmas and just had to have one himself.jackalope wrote:Is the person in MI name Gary by any chance?
