Doing one with styrene must have been a whole lot of work, so all credit to Rex for doing one that way. The one huge advantage of having designed one in Openscad is that if I ever break anything then I just print a new part, though I have made most parts one piece with the detail moulded on, so it's all pretty rock solid. It's always good to see how others approach building a model.

The one thing I did learn when researching the design was that most of the small scale models that are commercially available are sadly quite wrong in terms of scale and detail, at least doing one myself it is pretty close to what it should be. I only missed one thing, due to the blueprints I was using (even those aren't blueprints they are line drawings - but you have to trust someone??) but only a Quad fan would notice it.

Dont know if it is possible but a limber with open doors would be fantastic for a static model.
You are very talented at this as all your other projects show.
Well done!

Yes, it would be possible, and I did consider it. I went the solid door route for no other reason than I wanted something robust for towing around for now. I may do another one with doors and shell racks for a static version.
