Re: AERO MATE Panther II
I just found this thread and up until seeing this mess with the gears, I was amazed at the engineering. However, engineers never seem to disappoint these days. They find a way to fail in a big way. Having a small lathe and Mill in the house I know your approach. I do the same thing, but unfortunately I am not equipped for gear cutting/hobbing. I am interested to see your fix. Shame you have to design replacement parts for a multi thousand dollar kit.

It is incredible that behind such a high quality product (as the Aero Panther II presents itself) there are such macroscopic defects. I can understand it from Asiatam ..... but from Aero

Re: AERO MATE Panther II
After a "short break" we continue now ...
- Gearbox repaired
- Loudspeaker box mounted
- Doing some lead dress and fuses installed
Now only a few small parts have to be installed.
Stay tuned ...

Sweet!!!
I love the neat, clean electronic installation. Usually leads to reliable operation.

Jhamm how did you finally resolve the gear drives issue? Any pictures of the repaired drives or some detail on them? It runs very realistically now

Tanks alot....
