Hi, true, I wish I had found 1/16 figures with cold war era tank helmets to show the crew in a combat situation but did not find any. At one point, I wanted to take the time to create one for the driver and commander, not an easy task, but I saw wartime pictures that show drivers and commanders without helmets, likely in a very controlled environment, in transit on safe roads, or close to base. I therefore assumed I was realistic and I therefore put the whole crew and troopers in a relaxed situation.

Plenty realistic Louis - I have a bunch of pictures that I should make copies of and post them. I'm assuming those pictures you have are the real deal. I can remember moving tracks around in the rear areas we were in but when in convoy of tracking in training we always wore them. I must admit I was driving once and deliberately turned my helmet off as the Lieutenant was sniveling something about me about to run over a really long dead, and smelly, sheep.

You did an awesome job on this model. I wasn't going to say anything but it just struck me odd - -

Be well,
Steve

BTW I was in 2nd Platoon, Charlie Co., 1st of the 161st Mechanized Infantry, of the 6th Army.

Hi Tim,

I was curious about the meaning of Yat Yas on your post and found it in the Urban dictionary. I knew it would be priceless.
