Henglong king tiger doesn't have bearings unless you update to metal wheels and suspension arms

Hi,yes this tigers got metal wheels and swing arms, but some of the bearings are seized, and others are missing, the wheels are in good condition (Need a re-paint),so I was looking at just replacing the bearings ,regards

Best way is to pull a couple wheels and measure the bearings in them. You will need inside diameter, IOW the size of the hole in the center of the bearing, outside diameter and thickness. You will also need to record if the bearings are flanged or not flanged. You will need sealed bearings, rubber seals are the best for keeping out dust and grit.

If yo are in UK or EU, bearings should be no problem but I don't know of a source in those locals. If you are in US, Avidrc is an excellent choice and the bearings are roughly $1.00 each.

Trackpin Hi, I bought my bearings for my Taigen gearbox output shaft on E-BAY they came from "RC BEARINGS LTD (22824)"
They are a British Company,
Address Colin Long,
305 Staines Road,
Bedfont,
Middx.
tw14 9hf
I do not know if they do King Tiger wheel bearings but they do sell bearings across the Tamiya range including all the 1/14 Trucks.
Perhaps you could e-mail them with the sizes you need at ---
shop@rcbearings.co.uk
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
