just a small point not all late tiger 1's had the weld seam.... ulneed to check ur references in relation to the type of loaders hatch and resupply hatch you intend to use. as it is now its not entirely necessary to have a weld seam but again arguably not necessarily innacurate due to war needs at this period in time. martin

Hi thats very true they didnt all have the weld seam ,just something Ive done to mine to be different . As my Tiger 1 is with the 40mm roof I have altered my hatch to the Kingtiger style hatch with the off centre opening handle . Ive  seen wartime pictures were you can see the off centre handle on the loaders hatch and no lip around the hatch . Most of the pictures are of sSS101 Tiger 1s in Normandy . Theres a lot of good info on the free book down load post on here . Think its called Tiger 1 close up . Im not sure how accurate it is ,as I think its all in Russian . But I did mine from wartime pictures not what it shows you in this book. Sorry if I have missled any one with my post .
