Truly remarkable, when you look at the 'kits' available from some of the well known brands out there, this one puts them in the shade.

Thanks for the kind words to all Mr Alwyn did a great job on the kit and I recommend it to anyone What I like most about it's design is it's not 100% complete until you gather the necessary bits like the gearboxes and sprockets plus choice of electronics and make it your own!

Carl, Good Evening,
You have certainly made this one yours. It is clean and detailed to a fault. My favorite kind! Looking forward to your weathering. You should keep this one kind of fresh. It is amazing to look at.

Painless

Thank you Mr PainlessImage I wanted to get into some light dusting of the lower hull and road wheels sprockets etc this evening but I worked a very late shift so that will be accomplished another day.

I also just placed an order for the IR flash port connection for the tk60 so I can wire that up this week.

The plan is to add a bit of subtle streaking to the hull and superstructure but as you said very lightly done. Something like a veteran of the early days of the war that has been overhauled refitted and repainted for the western front.... With just a bit of dirt and grimeImage

PS....

Mr Painless was that your speaker box and tk24 Mr Maxmekker was testing? It sounds exactly like the real thing

I have had a somewhat quiet Sunday so far and was able to install the flash in the nashorn and test the elevation servo and the traverse motor. Only need to get the recoil servo to synch with the cannon fire. The volume is not turned up so I can listen for any binding of the motor or servos. Once I tweak all the functions I will be able to post some better videos of it running aboutImage

My apologies in advanceImage for my children in the background making a bit of background noise...

As I am currently without a printer I have started work on Tom's kit. The chassis is finished and a start on the upper hull

Raminator - this should give you a pointer on constructing your own upper hull. Note the notch back of the rear track cover so the sides will fit smoothly.
