KV-1 early metal wheels measurement

Post by wyvern »

Hi,

I am thinking about buying some metal wheels just had a query before I do. Could someone who has a set measure the distance between the wheels that the track runs in - just wanted to compare them to my plastic wheels to see if they are closer together and offer a bit less side play for the tracks.

Hi Blimp - the gap on my wheels is about 5.5mm could you confirm that yours are about that?

My SU-152 has the late-pattern metal wheels, I assume they'd be the same distance since the tracks are unchanged. They're 4.6 mm apart, in case it helps.
