Now i have a Tamiya Tiger 1 with the awesome dmd sounds fitted, i also have 3 Heng Long tanks, now the sound is very poor in them compared to the Tamy tank, is there any way to upgrade the speaker to make it better in my Heng Longs?

Upgrading Heng Long Speaker
Re: Upgrading Heng Long Speaker
hi mark so you have found your way over here from rcroadvehicles..!! cool...
i've read several posts on upgrading the standard (rubbish!) hl speaker and have done so myself in a couple of my tanks..
easiest way is to buy some cheap ipod/mp3 speakers and swap em over..? i,ve done this and it sounds ok, better than stock hl but not amazing and won't be as good as the tam one for sure...!! read a post somewhere where someone was trying to wire in a mini-amp to give a decent speaker something to work with but i don't think it was that straight forward or easy to do...
