This might be a silly question but I can't seem to be able to locate the crystal on the inside of my heng long tiger tank with RX 13 board can anyone help please.

Should be located inside the battery compartment mate. If you look underneath, it should be sticking out under there somewhere !

Hey mate, not silly at all................it actually could be missing completely, thats a real posibility.
Never worry about asking, its those that dont bother asking and blunder ahead that hack me off !

The crystal is missing completely that's a bummer as I won't know which set to buy. The is a rectangular hole in the battery compartment and I would presume the crystal fits in there.

Doesn't matter which set you get, as long as they match. Two number 4s or two number 8s, or whatever, as long as the two crystals are the same number. I think they even sell them in pairs. I'd try Heng Long's Store at Aliexpress.

STU, If you go to ---

and click on "Electronic" and go to Heng Long Accessories,
just scroll down and you can choose from any pair of Crystals from "01 to 10" About 10 Euros a Pair,
The label on the Crystal will be marked "TX" or "RC", The "TX" goes in the Transmitter and the Crystal marked "RC" goes in the Tank
I would suggest you buy a higher numbered pair as the lower numbers were usually the ones fitted by the factory which means you could get your Tank taken over by a stronger Transmitter using the same number crystal.
