Another vehicle for the tank days.
I got a slightly damaged 1/18 VW split screen cheap, so stripped and repainted the interior and exterior to make a staff car.

Each of the links leads to a log in screen, not a photo

Hi Carl, Revell do a 1/16 kit you need a 1951/1952 version with the split rear screen. But they are around £50+.c.rainford73 wrote:Eddie I see it and it's very nice! I've always wanted to build one of these. Are the base version available to purchase on a specific website?

I got a diecast 1/18 version, this is a early 1951 with the round rear lights, just like the ones used in WW2, I got it cheap, but they go for around £40+. I thought the metal version would suit better to handling as it is for the tank days.

Re: 1/18 VW split-screen staff car.
I see the metal 1:18 version and the revelle kit version online. I will go with your choice since its much easier for me to afford
and will be much more durable for sure. Thanks Eddie

No problem, glad I could help.
The metal version is just a few screws underneath and it all comes apart so makes repainting a lot easier, once dry just re-fasten up and off you go
