That is a nice looking tank. They have even given it loose tracks.
Think I might have to get one.  ;) ;D

Already found something for everyone to change on the HL KV-1 if they would like on the real KV-1 the exhaust comes out the two exhaust pipes on engine deck just behind the turret HL put a hole behind the rear of the tank and you can see the smoker hose .  :)

Thanks

Thanks Stevie .

Ok found a problem area on the HL KV-1 the Idler post the wheel screws into is a week point and when HL built the tank they over tighten the screw for the Idler wheel and snapped off one of the wheel post on mine I know of one other person with same problem but its an easy fix pick up at hardware store a shoulder bolt that has a longer shaft and drill out the post and bolt with a washer and lock nut this looks like if someone wanted to they could make a spring loaded adjustable idler system for this area .

Thanks
Jimmy

Looks good, shame about the short cummings you found, still, food for thought.

Others have found that the placement of the springs for the suspension is lacking also and the gun recoil will half recoil just like the WSN T-34 after switching to HL electronics  my HL Stug has not done this and they both have the Rx-18 so who can say but when parts for the Tamiya KV-1 comes available switch to the lower hull and electronics and see how it works then .
