The trouble with colourised photographs is that without eyewitness corroboration you cannot trust them and that applies with bells on when it comes to Turret Numbers and unit/division signing.
Mixing a known coloured item "The German Reich Flag" with other signs and emblems merely confuses the issue.......

That is for sure. We all know that pink with purple and scarlet were indeed the correct German colors .

Pink was actually used as a piping color on some uniforms.
