HL Truck Mods

Heng Long/WPL are now manufacturing 1/16 scale RC trucks, so it seemed sensible to create a forum area dedicated to the amazing things that members are doing with them. Post your builds, mods, and tips here.

Hi Dave, I have an Anet A8 & I use Slic3r. If I were you I'd be planning on getting a Creality CR 10 though. There's a 3D printing thread with lots of useful info.
Cheers

Yep that’s the one Gary
Think that’s the smallest, your choice as you can get up to 500 x 500 x 500, it’s all down to cost.
That’s what I’m getting next.
To be honest though it’s rare that I go over 200mm high.

Just thought I’d throw Vietnam gun trucks into the fray, a 6 wheel drive version of the HL truck would look awesome converted into one...

Do y'all think you can print hubcaps to match those type of rim? Maybe just glue them over the printed rims. or even the lego rims?

Hi Max, if you have a pic of the hub I can probably whip up a design for hubcaps that would fit the lego wheels. ;)
