Thanks
If you mean what I had on the Sturmtiger, have a look at rctanksaustralia or rctankelectronics. Same kit, just different prices. You need a Mako 2017 board, a Taigen mushroom and the hit light circle whose name I have forgotten. Thus will give you Tamiya compatibility with a new IR emitter. If you mean what I have on the Panzer 3, then what wibbly said above. Any further information, pm me.

Kevin, you mentioned firearms, do you have any spent casings that would be about the right size to match a 75mm or 88mm?
Another two new members arrived, a father and son, both excellent company. Unfortunately the Tiger they brought along managed to strip a gear, but they will get it fixed and return.

Next meet will be early December, date to be confirmed.

I have to say, it would be great to put a face to the name. He has been very helpful to me.

I use .22 Long Rifle rimfire bullets, obviously in 'used' brass case, with bullet head reset into brass case. If you look back a few pages on this forum you will see my King Tiger with bullets stuck on top of turret.... this is what I use. Not perfect, but some way towards creating the right look. I could give you some if you wanted.
I also have the same cases necked down to .177. The problem with theses cases is the .177 bullet heads are not that available, so just have the brass cases.

The tank games are World of Tanks and War Thunder, War Thunder being the better of the two imho.

Kevin, I can't remember which tank you're looking for a solution for. If it's a Panther, you might like to consider one of these. It will cost you more than the basic components, but it is an extremely neat solution.
http://rctanksaustralia.com/store/index ... ucts_id=28 current cost about £15.70 including p & p.
