Heng long truck

Heng Long/WPL are now manufacturing 1/16 scale RC trucks, so it seemed sensible to create a forum area dedicated to the amazing things that members are doing with them. Post your builds, mods, and tips here.

Got the truck from ebay today. I like it. I see great possibilities here.

Thanks for the review Max  as you say it looks a nice little truck ready for modding, looking forward to mine coming now, I'll be putting a steering servo in straight away to remedy the limited steering :D

Cheers, Lee.

I am doing a lot of research into these trucks before buying one, need to make sure that I can find scale crew and uniforms etc.

AAAaaaahhhhhh.........

Twin Peaks  (I recognise the uniform)
A most outstanding Bar & Dining establishment.

I was so impressed with the 'concept' that when I returned to Aussie from up north, and emailed the franchise holder for the WTF's, all I got back was "at this time Twin Peaks are not looking to expand the franchise beyond Canada and North America "

Damn............Gold Coast Sheilas can Sooo pull that off.........shame we cant use open fires here, in winter its still too hot :/

Oh good grief...........from H/L trucks to twin Peaks :problem:

That'll do you no good. It makes the nuts too tight for scale.

Got a little more video on the construction of these trucks, and at the end I start gathering crew members.

It looks like HL are in the process of bringing out better quality upgrades for the trucks, eg steering upgrades, metal gearboxes and axles.

Any word on the 6x6, Wibbs? I would think a Christmas release would be profitable.

I just hope they saw how popular support vehicles will be if they'd just build the darn things. These things are selling like hotcakes. I sincerely hope the lightbulb (surrounded by little dollar signs) is going on right over the heads of some of our Asian buddies, can ya dig it? 8)

Now let's see a jeep!

As soon as my second one gets here I'll take one apart and see what I can see. With video, of course.
