Thanks Shaun, I know what you mean about the postal services  this was the first time I've used tankmodellbau.de so this thread was just intended to get some feedback on their delivery time really, that's what I was worried about that it may have gone missing, if I hadn't have received the dispatch notice from them I wouldn't have been too concerned as postal services in other countries can vary a lot, but nearly 3 weeks after dispatch notice is stretching it a bit I think and another concern is that they havnt replied to any of my emails for any reassurance :( I ordered items from China on the same day and they turned up on the 25th and that was with free shipping , still fingers crossed I'll just be happy if they turn up

Cheers, Lee.

I hope this is not going to be useless information but after getting badly burned by "TANKZONE" a few years ago,
Whenever I use a dealer for the first time I NEVER EVER order something too expensive to lose,
Once they show themselves to be square shooters I put more money their way,
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Luckily Shaun the items weren't that expensive so I can live with that but as you say it can leave a bad taste in your mouth after an experience like that, who knows though they could well still show up but I would have appreciated a reply to my emails from them for some peace of mind ,

Cheers, Lee.

Hello Lee, I don't know if this make you feel better but when I've ordered from them in the past to the states it took quite a while ( about a month)

The items were very nice and worth the wait but I feel your pain.

I was going to order from him about a month ago but never placed the order because on his site he stated he was going away for a few weeks and orders may be delayed.

Hang in there

Carl

Hi Carl,
Hopefully all will be ok, I don't mind the waiting but I feel a little miffed that they havnt even replied to my emails the first of which was sent to them nearly a week ago just to request a tracking number which in my opinion is plenty of time for them to respond and is just common courtesy , if they had acknowledged that then there would have been no worries

Cheers, Lee.

If they have taken a holiday, and their email system is automated, then when you placed your order the system would have generated a despatched notice, as under normal circumstances they would despatch goods the next day etc. It wouldn't be the first time that a company forgets to switch off automated responses, or change it to say 'there will be a delay in despatch'.

3 weeks is a bit of a wait though, 10 days seems about the norm. As a last resort you could ring them, most European companies speak excellent English.

Thanks Rob that may explain it as I didn't receive any tracking information when I got their shipping notice, I'll leave it until the end of the week and if I've still not had a reply from them I'll try ringing them like you suggested
