Tankmodellbau uk delivery?

Afternoon all,

Just wondering if anyone who's used tankmodellbau.de can let me know roughly how long delivery to the UK should take, I ordered a few items on the 12th September and received an email from them on the 13th September to say my item's had been shipped but as of today the 30th September they've still not arrived . I've emailed them twice but have had no reply from them, is this normal for them

Did you get tracking info?

I've heard DHL can take a while on occasion. Not my experience but I could have been lucky.

Hi Tom, I didn't have any tracking info when they emailed me with the shipping notice, not that I noticed anyway as i had to decipher that with Google translate I emailed them asking for a tracking number but as of yet I've not heard anything from them

You will find that many German dealers do the day job and get home to assemble the delivery's and post everything on Friday of each week ,
So if you put in your order on Sunday and it is in stock it wont get taken to the post office before the following Friday,
if it is out of stock or the dealers had to print it on his/her 3D Printer it will take longer.
That's just the way its done.

Thanks Shaun, I just assumed that as I received the shipping email the next day it was on its way, I'm surprised they havnt replied to my emails asking for the tracking number though, looks like I'll have to keep waiting

I was thinking I remember being on their web site a couple of weeks ago and they were away on holiday.
Orders could be placed but nothing shipping until end of month.

I could be wrong though.

Maybe Barry, although I did get an email the day after saying it had been shipped, guess it's just a waiting game until it turns up,

They sent me the shipping email on the 13th of September, today is the 30th that's 17 days , no post tomorrow so Monday will be the 2nd which will make it nearly 3 weeks,

My experience of the German Postal "Service" is that it is a bit of a lottery,
I ordered an item last year and after six weeks waiting it took the dealers intervention to get them to root through the Frankfurt sorting office to find the product and forward it to me,
Yesterday I got an Item from
www.rctank.de
Four days after I ordered it,
Like I say its a lottery.
