HL to Taigen metal gearbox replacement

So I got my replacement gearboxes for the T-90. I managed to file the D shaft enough so it could fit my current sprockets. Except now I have a totally different problem. The screws to connect the gearbox and the wheels are completely different in width.
I'm hoping to file them to make it big enough to fit, but it seems that's going to take quite a while. Anyone with suggestions, please give them to me.

Hi Mr Hammer I just drill or file out the center holes of the wheel to accommodate the larger screw for the tiagen gearboxes.

I'd get new screws.
Surely in the land of precision guided munitions, The Dodge Hellcat & other fancy stuff , there is a place that can supply cap head bolts to suit !

The screws won't fit through the hole in the sprockets and you can't get thinner ones because they won't fix the gear box threads.

Mr Hammer, the sprockets are only pot metal so any drill bit will do. I've used my puny chord less drill to do mine so you don't need to worry about a fancy drill and posh drillbits.

Any standard drill bit will work. The larger screw looks to be about 1/4" (or mm something) so get that size drill bit and drill them out. Filing doesn't give you a true center and the wheels attached will wobble and probably break something. If you have a drill press drill a pilot hole in a 1/2' block of sometype, even aluminum works, put it on the wheel and then drill away. Of course if you have a drill press then just lay the sprocket/wheel on the top or in a vise and drill it out. Go slow. Nothing more fun than a piece of something you really didn't want broke flying across the room in more than one piece or gouged.
