Tank accessories

Post by Mark66 »

Been in the shed most of the afternoon, putting together a few extras.

Image

Primed and ready for painting. The roll is made out of gauze with string.

Image

Need a carrying bracket.

Image

Made out of some left over plastic and tooth picks with the rubber gauze that's used for stopping things sliding on a dash board.

Image

Finished

Image

Fitted onto tiger 1

Image

Don't know if they used sponges but that buckets got one, cut a small square off a soldering sponge.

Image

That's most of the afternoon gone.

Next is fitting this lot.

And Nice board and smoker. I have just installed a set like it in my Panther F.

However, if the board cuts out, it might be the sd card. Mine did, but swapped for another card and it runs perfectly nowImageImage

As far as the sponge goes, it could also go for a piece of German cheese if All else failsImage

Thanks for that,

I'm new to tanks so I appreciate the heads up on the SD card, I use the M Tronics sound module in my lifeboat no SD card but it's proportional wired into the the speed controller and one of the brushless motors.

Cheese good shout, I think I might make some black bread for the crew so they can have supper.

Mark what speaker so you plan to run with the IBU2U? Nice job on the accessories BTW. I've run a couple of these boards now and I'm learning as I go ( with Ian's help) but they are excellent for sure. Let me know if you need any help setting it up or if you have any questions after you get it up and running.

Are you using a Turnigy 9xrpro radio?

Sorry for posting all the pictures if it's caused a problem, I'm not to well up on tech, I'll go and read up on how to not quote my own post if that will help, I think I might stop in my shed from now on.

The tank meet on Sunday was great I'm better face to face than this forum stuff, I'm better off browsing rather than posting, my son helped me with posting the pictures sorry once again.

Cheers Mark.

Im a bit awkward when it comes to the I.T. stuff as well.
You did no wrong, you were not to know.
No one lost any blood, nor requires therapy, so post away please.
No error that cant be sorted and put right, important thing is to feel encouraged to be actively involved.

Thanks for that,

It's not that easy for me posting with all the quotes but I'll get it,

Upgraded the speaker to the FRS 7 fitted the IBU + the smoker, then fitted the speaker.
