I've had this tank for nigh on 5 years now, decided over the past few weeks to give it a repaint. Went with hard-edge camo carefully applied with brush, used multiple layers of thinned airbrush paint to get a smooth result. Went with extra heavy weathering, as if this is a veteran tank that's been through heavy action.





I'm honestly not sure I'm 100% happy with it.

I reckon it needs a few stone chips. Use the yellow to put stone chips on the brown and green so that it looks like it is showing through the layers above. A piece of sponge dipped in the paint will do it.

Yes a little chipping with a sponge on the surface with the base coat as reccomended and this will really bring all the colors together

Hi Everyone has their own way of doing it some similar to others. Mr Maxmekker on The forum posted this video a while back. You can use his methods anywhere. I use them and have had great success. Do some practice on a spare model ( I use thick paper sheets and test until the desired effect and consistency is achieved) Then have fun....
