Where can I get those textured pipes/braided hoses for the "air intake"? Please tell?

Funny you should ask.... They are actually left over from an airbrush compressor kit. I cut them to length and super glue the ends to keep the braid in place and then trim the ends to get them neat

I'll go look for them on ebay. Found a 1.8 metre length for under £5

Exactly. I had about one meter left over after the hose broke and suddenly an idea hit me and now it has another purpose. Have fun and don't forget to show us how it comes out

The hoses on my Tank are already quick release. They have magnets in them and the air filters. The braided hose will add that finishing touch.

Yes those would look excellent on your tank

I know this may be a little late in the thread, but...

I would assume the color green used on the tracks would be the same as the camo used when spraying the tank in the field. It seems the paints that were sent out were standard across the battle field for the most part..

Not with the late model steel road wheels. The earlier tigers with the extra wheels and rubber tires had to remove the outer set.

Yes for the early type. Otherwise it will never gets to the frontline. side skirt is also removed and front side fender flip up: (stacks of wheels ay the back on the rail car).

Late ones don't have to remove the wheels but skirts and fender still has to be remove/flip up.

Before the big storm comes tonight I wanted to get my Tiger I tested and running. I've attached a couple of videos of the tank starting and driving with the servo recoil setup from Ian and the Clark tk60 board from Maxmekker.

Few more final details to add but it's about 95% done
